Allie Buchweitz received a BFA in Dance and a Minor in History from the University of Arizona. While at school, she performed works by faculty members including Susan Quinn, Michael Williams, and James Clouser. She also had the opportunity to learn and perform Balanchine’s Concerto Barrocco. During her senior year she performed as a dancer with the Arizona Opera in their production of Beauty and the Beast, and also taught dance for an after school enrichment program in the Tucson Unified School District. Since graduation, she has performed in Chicago as a company member with Joel Hall Dancers II, RASA Dance Chicago, and Corpo Dance Company in addition to working with numerous choreographers to perform in Dance Chicago, Chicago Freelance Dance, and the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival. Currently, she is performing as a company member with Esoteric Dance Project. Allie has been sharing her love of dance with her students for over 9 years.

Corey graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance with a minor in business, magna cum laude in April of 2000, where she studied all elements of pedagogy, kinesiology, and choreography. After moving to Chicago, Corey was a founding member of the innovative tap company Chicago Tap Theatre, under the direction of Mark Yonally. She performed professionally with Chicago Tap Theatre for 2 years. She then became a member of the internationally touring dance company, Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, under the direction of jazz icon Billy Siegenfeld. She performed with Jump Rhythm for over 5 years. Corey won an Emmy Award for her Performance in the PBS Documentary "Getting There: Jump Rhythm Jazz Project"in 2007. Although she has taught dance for over 20 years, for the past 10 years, Corey has turned her focus completely back to teaching and sharing the rhythm. Corey's choreography has won several awards and has been sought after by local youth dance companies. Corey has taught master classes at Stevenson High School as a part of the Odyssey program; choreography workshops for Fremd High School's Orchesis dancers; and has taught master classes and set choreography on the Orchesis dancers at both Buffalo Grove and Wheeling High School. Corey is on a mission to share the joy of movement and rhythm!

Rebecca Robertstad received a BA in Dance with a concentration in Teaching from Columbia College Chicago. She has performed with Momenta, IDC Speaks, Tiffany Lawson Dance and J. Lindsay Brown Dance. Rebecca has had the pleasure of working with various independent choreographers as well as attending summer intensives with The Seldoms, The DanceCOLEctive and Luna Negra Dance Theater.
Her choreography has been showcased at Going Dutch and at Kaleidoscope Dance Festival. Rebecca has taught at various studios in the Chicagoland area and is currently teaching at the Lombard Park District as well as performing with Esoteric Dance Project. |
Paige McCoy graduated with a B.A. in Dance and Italian Studies from Mount Holyoke College. During that time, she studied ballet, musical theater, hip-hop, and modern dance. She performed works by Mount Holyoke College Faculty members Barbie Diewald and Shakia Johnson, New Second Line by Camille A. Brown, and many more. She also had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Gus Giordano College/Pro Summer Intensive where she learned from a variety of Chicago based choreographers. In addition, she danced at the New England ACDA conference in 2018, served as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Youth Programs Administrative Intern in the summer of 2018, and was co-artistic director of the 2020 Senior Dance Capstone Concert. Before college, she grew up studying dance in the Chicago suburbs where she got the chance to learn from Corey and Allie as well as be a part of Wheeling High School Orchesis under Diane Rawlinson.

Kasey Selzer has been dancing for the past 8 years. She originally was a competitive gymnast at Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center when she noticed the Movement and Sound Dance classes at the same location. Soon after, she quit gymnastics realizing dance was her passion. While taking classes, Kasey continued her acro skills by teaching gymnastics and applied those skills to her dancing. Kasey is now a senior at Lake Zurich High School and competes on the Lake Zurich Varsity Poms team. In 2019, she and her team placed first at the IHSA State Competition and second at UDA Nationals in Orlando, FL. Kasey’s team specializes in hip hop containing various types of acrobatic tricks. As a senior on LZVP, Kasey choreographs routines for school assemblies and halftime shows at football and basketball games. Kasey is so excited to share her love of dance with new students and hopes they will enjoy it as much as she does.

Amanda Graziano is graduating with her degree in Dance from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Amanda competed as a rhythmic gymnast for 8 years and has been invited to the national Junior Olympics 3 years in a row. At a young age, she had the opportunity to perform in the children’s cast of Joffrey Ballet’s Nutcracker for 3 years as well as train at Chicago studios like Gus Giordano and Visceral. During her college career she trained at summer intensives River North Dance Chicago and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, on scholarship, and performed at the American Dance Guild at the Alvin Ailey Theater in New York City. During these summers she has also worked as a convention assistant for Chicago Dance Connection. Her choreography was selected to be performed at the American College Dance Association in 2018, has performed at the festival for three years, as well as the World Dance Alliance in Puebla, Mexico and Detroit Dance City Festival. She was also part of the Visceral Apprentice Workshop and had the pleasure of working with the Visceral Dance Company and their artistic director, Nick Pupillo while attending. She has been in works by the stellar faculty of UW- Madison and other excellent choreographers like Heidi Latsky, Scott Ewen and Rosalind Newman.

Katelyn Dundovich graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Dance Teacher Education and an endorsement in Physical Education. While at Illinois State, Katelyn was a company member of ISU’s pre-professional dance company, Dance Theatre. In addition, Katelyn was a four year member of Illinois States Official Dance Team, Redline Express. Growing up, her dance training and passion for dance and teaching stemmed from Corey Lozier and Allie Buchweitz. Katelyn’s choreography has been showcased in numerous festivals and concerts, including The Going Dutch Festival and Dance Inventions. As well, she regularly choreographs competition and halftime routines for Wheeling High School’s Pom Team. In addition to sharing her passion for dance at Movement & Sound, Katelyn is the JV Dance Team Coach at Glenbrook South High School and is on the executive board committee for Illinois High School Dance Festival.

Kristina Saldarelli is a dance educator and choreographer from the Chicagoland area. She received her BA in Theatre Arts: Dance from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and her MA in Communication, Media, and Theatre from Northeastern Illinois University. She is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at Carthage College where she teaches dance technique and composition courses. She directs Carthage’s student choreographed concert Away From the Mirror (2016, 2018, 2020) and choreographs for the annual fall dance concert and the spring musical Kiss Me Kate. Kristina danced professionally with JUMP RHYTHM® Jazz Project, a rhythm and energy-based performance company from 2005-2018. Her work has been adjudicated at American College Dance Festival, produced in professional concert venues, and ranked highly in national youth competitions. She was a Guest Adjunct Lecturer of Jump Rhythm® Technique at Northwestern University and as a freelance choreographer and teaching artist, she educates and mentors dance students.
